I don’t know how many of you are familiar with the Gangbunch comics and art collective? We used to pal around, back in the day. Got a few members you might have heard of.

I ask because Gangbunch veteran and webcomic entrepreneur Tauhid “T” Bondia is asking for help - not for himself, but for his man behind the scenes, the coding wizard who makes Epicsplosion and Epicsploitation a reality. The details are on his site, but the upshot is that T came to the ol’ Gangbunch bunch-gang and asked for original art to sell for the donation-drive. You can check the results out here.

I left basically all my originals from earlier times back in Australia, and have been largely working digitally since moving to germany - so I had to resort to actually drawing something new to give to him. Specifically, a pen-and-ink-wash sketch of Tripp Roguestar - detail shown above. I used to work a lot with ink, but normally now I use a combination of hand-painting and digital rendering, in a kind of iterative print-paint-scan process. Not really the spirit of things here, so I had to go back to basics with this one and try not to fuck up along the way.
