messy speedpainting
i haven’t really used photoshop much for painting, just finishing things off. This one I did go-to-whoah there, and I’m still feeling out the brush settings and stuff. I think I only found some I was happy with in the last twenty minutes but now i know for next time.
Had a little time today so i decided to finally go back and fix up that picture of Jade I did ages ago but never finished. So here she is, with the rest of the Homestuck girls (that I’ve done so far)
work on a conference poster or finish a commission I’ve taken a million years over? HARD DECISIONS!
edit: for those interested, Halley was loosely referenced off Neil Gaiman’s dogs, although not an exact copy. But I needed a big white dog!

Drawing for a challenge on the PA Artists Forum; to draw outside your comfort zones. Mono-width inking! vibrant colours! DETAIL (shudder). It was fun!

this is from a commission - when I started this painting, we hadn’t met Meenah (which should give you some idea of how far behind on work I am). I went to start polishing her up but the pose and face suddenly seemed completely wrong. Changed things up and now I’m much happier.
